Our Mission

We Care Hospice is committed to being a leader in providing high quality hospice and palliative care:

• to individuals with a limited life expectancy
• to providing support for families and caregivers
• to serving the community as a resource for end of life care.

Our sole purpose is to tenderly embrace those facing the final moments of life, along with their loved ones, with intense medical care, emotional support and spiritual care, as desired. 

Whenever you need us, however you need us, we'll be there!

 If there is one thing we've learned in caring for patients and their families since 1997, it is that each person has individual needs.

We tailor our services to meet your needs where you live, whether it's your home or your family's, an assisted living facility, or our Inpatient facility.  We give you the care and comfort to live each day to the fullest as life unfolds and changes.

Hospice is about living every moment completely.

We Care Hospice exists to neither hasten death nor prolong life, but to enhance the quality of life for as far as life lasts.  Hospice emphasizes comfort care rether than curative treatment.  At the heart of the hospice philosophy is respect for the decisions of each individual patient and their family members.

We Care Hospice is a provider of palliative care and support for terminally-ill patients, their families and caregivers.  Patients ranging in age from infants to the elderly who are facing a terminal illness are given specialized medical, emotional and spiritual care.

 Since our founding in 1997, We Care Hospice has served George, Harrison and Jackson counties from our home office in Moss Point, Mississippi.

We are an approved provider for Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  We also accept most private insurance plans.  We Care Hospice is a member of the National Hospice Organization, Louisiana/Mississippi Palliative Care Organization and the chamber of commerce.

             Some We Care Hospice services you may be eligible for:

• Regular nursing care and emergency visits by hospice nurses

• Emotional support, financial consultations and needs assessment by hospice social workers

• Personal care assistance by certified nursing aides

• Spiritual support from hospice and area chaplains

• Added support and friendship from trained patient and family volunteers

• Bereavement care following the loss of a loved one
